San Antonio, Texas – The Western New Mexico University Men's Tennis team hit the road to continue their 2025 spring season, facing off against a tough St. Mary's squad. Despite solid efforts and a standout singles win, the Mustangs dropped the match 1-6.

In doubles play, the Mustangs fought hard but couldn't find a breakthrough:

No. 1: Javier Romero (Tlalnepantla, Mexico/ETAC) and Mael Houee (Rennes, France/Tennis Club de Bruz) fell to L. Fabbri and L. Hein, 4-6
No. 2: Alexandre Frigout (/Ozanam/ Saint Jean) and Birk Arwedahl (Karlskrona, Sweden/AF Chapman) were edged by L. Castillo and P. Copin, 4-6
No. 3: Romain Malhomme (Marseille, France/CNED) and Lorenzo Orellano Buratti (Acassuso, Buenos Aires, Argentina/Anibal Mensi) dropped their match to B. Hauer and L. Baldonado, 3-6
