Las Cruces, New Mexico - The Western New Mexico University Men's Tennis team continued its 2025 Spring Season with an Exhibition match-up against New Mexico State University Aggies. NMSU Aggies beat the WNMU Mustangs 0-7.

In doubles, the No. 1 spot,
Javier Romero (Tlalnepantla, Mexico/ETAC) and
Titouan Rebois (Boulogne Billancourt, France/Notre Dame de Boulogne) lost their match to Itay Feigin and Holland Snell, 2-6. At No. 2
Romain Malhomme (Marseille, France/CNED) and
Alexandre Frigout (/Ozanam/ Saint Jean) got beaten by Tobias Wallin and Gustavo Campos, 4-6. No. 3 pairing of
Birk Arwedahl (Karlskrona, Sweden/AF Chapman) and Lorenzo Orellano-Buratti would lose their match 3-6 to the Aggie's Lance Urlaub and Roko Stipetic.
As for singles, playing No. 1 today was
Javier Romero (Tlalnepantla, Mexico/ETAC) who lost to down Itay Feigin in two sets 1-6 and 6-7, with a tiebreaker of 2-7. Penciled in at No. 2 was
Alexandre Frigout (/Ozanam/ Saint Jean), before losing to Tobias Wallin 2-6 and 1-6.
Romain Malhomme (Marseille, France/CNED) played No. 3 for the Mustangs today who lost his match to Holland Snell, 7-6 with a tiebreaker of 5-7, 0-6, and 2-5 by default.
Birk Arwedahl (Karlskrona, Sweden/AF Chapman) was slotted for No. 4 today, taking Lance Urlaub to two sets before losing the match 3-6 and 3-6. No. 5 Lorenzo Orellano-Buratti rounded out today's lineup, losing to Matias Rojas, 0-6 and 0-6. In the final spot penciled at No. 6,
Titouan Rebois (Boulogne Billancourt, France/Notre Dame de Boulogne) lost his match to Roko Stipetic in two sets, 1-6 and 0-6.

The Mustangs will travel back home for their first home match of the season against Sul Ross on March 1, 2025, scheduled for 2 p.m. MT.
