WICHITA FALLS, Texas - The Western New Mexico University Men's Golf team took part in the Midwestern State Invite on Monday morning. The Mustangs currently sit in 10th place at (+42) 302-308-610.
Leading the way is
Adam Niles (Kamloops, BC/Valley View Secondary HS), T-12th at (+6), 73-75-148. Niles has seven birdies. T-45th is
Arnav Arkanath (Milton Keyes, GB/Sir Henry Floyd HS) and
Joey Geary (Phoenix, AZ/Sunnyslope HS) at (+12). Arkanath went 77-77-154 with three birdies, while Geary managed 74-80-154 and five birdies.
Tomas Ribeiro (Porto Seguro, BR/Evolução Centro HS) and
Max Kaesebier (Bad Langensalza, Germany/Pierre-de-Coubertin Gymnasium) are both T-55th at (+14). Ribeiro shot 78-78-156, recording one birdie. Kaesebier's card read 78-78-156 with three birdies.
Odessa College is in first place at (+13). Colorado Mesa is in second at (+17). UTPB rounds out the top three at (+25).
Adam Bresnu of Odessa College holds first place at (-2). Wyatt Provence of West Texas A&M Sangha Park of UTPB are tied for second at (-1).
The Mustangs will resume play with round three tomorrow morning.
