SAN ANTONIO, Texas - The Western New Mexico University Women's Golf team traveled to The Dominion Country Club in San Antonio, Texas for the Rattler Invite. After rounds one and two, the Mustangs sit in 10th at (+51), 314-313-627.

Freshman Brooklynn Maes (Las Cruces, NM/Centennial HS) leads the for the Mustangs. Maes is T-11th at (+6), 74-76-150 with six birdies. T-36th is Taysea Powell (Artesia, NM/Artesia HS) at (+14), 77-81-158. Powell recorded one birdie.

Shandiin Harper (Farmington, NM/Piedra Vista HS) is currently T-38th at (+15), 79-80-159. Harper has four birdies. Sophomore Alexandria Klemke (Goodyear, AZ/Estrella Foothills HS) is in 45th at (+18), 84-78-162. Klemke made four birdies in the two rounds.

T-56th is Falyn Lackey (Hobbs, NM/Hobbs HS) at (+24), 82-86-168. Lackey had one birdie.

West Texas A&M leads the tournament at E. In second place is Henderson State at (+16). Rounding out the top three is Midwestern State at (+25).

Lorenza Perini of West Texas A&M leads the tournament at (-6). Her teammate Anna Nomrowski is in second at (-3). Tied for third is Bailey Anderson of International, Libby Kilbride of St. Mary's and Allie Bianchi of Henderson State at (+1).
