LUBBOCK, TX- WNMU men and women competed on the 2nd day of the Lone Star Conference Championships in Lubbock, Texas.

Today, the women's team had discus thrower, Britney Hickman, compete who finished 14th overall with a mark at 21.71m. Also finishing 14th today was Veronika Garcia. She crossed the line with a time of 1:13.19s in the 400m hurdles. Her race followed up with the Women's 100m dash as Nayeli Cobos took 21st in the field with a time of 12.53s.Â

The men had lone runner Lucas Kedge (Peñasco, NM/Volcano Vista HS) compete today in the 3000m Steeplechase. He placed 11th overall with a time of 11:07.54.

The Mustangs will have one more day to compete at the Lone Star Conference Championships in Lubbock, TX today.Â
