PUEBLO, Colo.-Â The Western New Mexico Women's Golf team finished play at Walking Stick Golf Course in Pueblo, Colorado for the El Cheapo Classic on Sunday morning. After round two the Mustangs would finish in 7th place at (+36), 306-306-612.

Sophomore Shandiin Harper (Farmington, NM/Piedra Vista HS) would finish T-6th at (+4), with a final round of 73. Harper would finish the El Cheapo with four birdies.
T-22nd is Mia Trousdale (El Paso, TX/Eastwood HS) at (+9), carding a 77. Trousdale would record two birdies for the tournament.

Alexandria Klemke (Goodyear, AZ/Estrella Foothills HS) finished T-29th at (+11), with a scorecard of 79. Klemke would manage a team-high five birdies.
Coming in T-44th is Taysea Powell (Artesia, NM/Artesia HS) at (+14), shooting a 77. Powell would acquire four birdies, including two in each round.
Chelsea Medina (Silver City, NM/Silver HS) rounds out the lineup, T-51st at (+15), with a final round of 80. Medina finished the tournament with two birdies.
Colorado Christian would win the tournament at (+22). Tying for 2nd place is Colorado State-Pueblo and Colorado Mesa at (+23).
Tying for 1st place is Minna Archer and Kylie Severin of Colorado State-Pueblo at (+2). Finishing in 3rd place is Courtney Andersson of Colorado Christian, Sueah Park of Simon Fraser and Madison O'Sullivan if Regis at (+3).

The Mustangs will be back in action on March 31st for the RJGA Palm Valley Classic in Goodyear, Ariz.
