SILVER CITY N.M.- Head Football Coach Billy Hickman and Western New Mexico University Football has the hiring of Kasey Tittlemier to lead the Mustangs Offensive Line.

"Kasey has had a ton of success as a high school football coach and has always looked to get into the college ranks," said Head Coach Billy Hickman.

The previous season, Tittlemier was the offensive and defensive line coach at Butler High School in Butler Missouri for the 2021-22 season. Tittlemier also has stops at East Bakersfield High School in Bakersfield, Calif. during the 2019-20 as the head coach, as well as a stop at Centennial High School in Bakersfield, Calif. as the offensive line coach during the 2015-19 seasons.

"I want to thank Coach Hickman and Scott Noble for the opportunity first and foremost, my family and I are extremely excited to be here at Western New Mexico University, said Tittlemier." "The opportunity is something I take a tremendous amount of pride in and have really embraced the transition.  I'm looking forward to growing as a person and a coach to make a positive impact on everyone involved here at Western New Mexico University."

Tittlemier, originally from Bakersfield, Calif. was named an All-League and All-Area Lineman in high school during the 2001-2002 season. He was also named an All-Conference Lineman at Bakersfield College in 2004. Tittlemier also holds a degree from Missouri Western State University.

"His engaging personality, work ethic and attention to detail will make him an excellent recruiter," said Hickman. "He will help our o-line tremendously with all we have to teach and mold these young men."
