Lubbock, TX- Both Mustangs teams finish off the cross country season in Lubbock, TX this morning. The women raced at 6K distance, while the men would race their first season 10K distance.

Competing at NCAA Regionals hosted by Lubbock Christian, the women opened up the meet at 9am. Leading the mustangs once again to the line was
Aubrey Lozoya (Albuquerque, NM/Cottonwood Classic Prep) who was marked at 23:50.9. She was placed at 100
th overall in the field, averaging a 6:23 mile pace.
Lisbet Porras (Casa Grande, NM/Casa Grande High School) and
Itzela Darkenwald (Conroe, TX/Caney Creek High School) were also the female's top runners today as they finished side by side (Porras at 24:20.9 and Darkenwald at 24:23.6).

Aaron Perez (El Paso, TX/Eastwood HS) was this week's top male finisher, as he crossed the line at 31.56.1, coming in 56
th.
Rowan Flores (Española, NM/Los Alamos HS) was just 13 seconds behind him as he finished 64
th overall. He averaged 5:10 per mile pace.

The women totaled a scored of 595 points, finishing 20
th as a team. The men's team had a total score of 392 and finishing 13
th together.
