ROHNERT, CALIF. –  Western New Mexico University Men's Golf team played the first two rounds of the NCAA West Regional Fall Preview at Foxtail Golf Club. The Mustangs are in 1st  place, as three Mustangs are in the top 10.

Adam Niles (Kamloops, BC/Valley View Secondary) leads the Mustangs at (-5). He shot a 68-71 and is in 7th. Tied in 8th are Adam Samnegard (Norrkoping, SWE/Hagagymnasiet HS/Garden City CC) and freshman Anthony Lara (Anthony, NM/Gadsden HS) at (-3). Samnegard shot a 74-67 and Lara shot a 67-74.

Senior Joey Geary (Phoenix, AZ/Sunnyslope HS) is tied for 28th at (+3) carding a 70-77. Tied for 37th, Arnav Arkanath (Milton Keyes, GB/Sir Henry Floyd HS) at (+4) shooting a 76-72.

WNMU sits in first at (-13). Tied in second is Cal State East Bay and Oklahoma Christian at (-8).

The Mustangs will conclude the NCAA West Regional Fall Preview, teeing off at 9:00am MDT
