Silver City, N.M. -  Adding to the highly talented Fall of 2022 recruiting class, Western New Mexico University's Men's Tennis Head Coach, Alex Hunt has signed Paul Claussen. WNMU Athletics would like to welcome Paul to the Mustang Family!

"Paul is yet another addition to this talented Fall 2022 recruiting class," said Hunt. "Paul has a big attacking game, but also has the ability to grind for a long time on the baseline."

Claussen, comes from Balingen, Germany, playing at Gymnasium Balingen. Claussen is a proven winner, being a 10-time Regional Masters winner. He was a three-time 3rd place winner at the Wurttemberg Championships.

"He hits a heavy ball and I really think his game will translate well to the high level tennis required in the Lone Star Conference," concluded Hunt.
