San Antonio, Texas – The Western New Mexico University Men's Golf team finished playing in the Rattler Invitational at the Dominion Country Club in San Antonio, Texas. After the end of both days including three total rounds, the Mustangs finished in 9th place carding 901 (+37) out of 14 tough teams. 
The Mustangs carded an 291 on the third day, a much better improvement from the first two days (301-309). 
Two Mustangs ended in the top-20. Joey Geary (Phoenix, AZ/Sunnyslope HS) had a huge comeback for the Mustangs and going up 13 spots from the day before ending in 3rd place. Geary carded 217 (73-75-69) being +1 for the tournament. Adam Niles (Kamloops, BC/Valley View Secondary) also had an excellent tournament, securing T-16th carding 221(74-74-73) at the end of both days  Niles led the par-3 scoring for the second straight time, averaging an excellent 3.0 scoring average over the Dominion Country Club's challenging short holes in blustery conditions.   . 
Adam Samnegard (Norrkoping, SWE/Hagagymnasiet HS/Garden City CC) finished in T-31st moving up five places from the first day with a score card of 224 (75-77-72) giving him a +8 at the invitational. Aaron Perales (Deming, NM/Deming HS) ended in T-70th moved up one spot carding 224 (79-83-77) at the end of the two days. Mustang Arnav Arkanath (Milton Keyes, GB/Sir Henry Floyd HS) finished 82nd carding 239 (82-88-83). 
Midwestern State''s Jake Doggett finished in first place carding 210, ended the invitational -6. Texas A&M Commerce's Kittiphong Phaithuncharoensuk moved up four rankings to finish with a total of 216 and ending even to par. 
The final results of the Rattler Invitational, Cameron University finished in first (+10), followed by Texas A&M Commerce (+11) in second, and St. Mary's University (+12) in third.
