El Paso, Tex. - The Western New Mexico Men's Golf team began competing in the RJGA Central Shootout on October 24th. After day on the Mustangs sit in 5th place.

Joey Geary (Phoenix, AZ/Sunnyslope HS), Adam Samnegard (Norrkoping, SWE/Hagagymnasiet HS/Garden City CC) and Adam Niles (Kamloops, BC/Valley View Secondary) currently sit T-24th at (+6), shooting a 78. Arnav Arkanath (Milton Keyes, GB/Sir Henry Floyd HS) would shoot an 80, placing him T-34th at (+8). Anthony Lara (Anthony, NM/Gadsden HS) is T-54th at (+11), carding an 83.

UT Permina Basin sit in first place at (+14). In second is Dallas Baptist at (+17) and in third place is Westminster at (+19).

Jack Wilson of DBU leads everyone at (-2). Travis Robbie sit in second place at (-1). Wesminster's Zach Dallimore and Alec Williams are tied for third at (+1).

The Mustangs will finish the RJGA Central Shootout tomorow morning.
