Silver City, N.M. – Homecoming against UT Permian Basin was delayed an hour and a half before the Mustangs and Falcons would take the field. The Mustangs played a well-rounded game but was not enough to take down UTPB, falling 27-19.

Larsen would also link up with Bryce Coleman (Tucson, AZ/Mountain View HS) 6 times, for 47-yards and would find paydirt once. Larsen ended the night 28-44, throwing for 250 yards, a touchdown, and two interceptions.

Coleman rushed for 81-yards on 17 attempts. Oly Ta'ase (Pago Pago, American Samoa/Fagaitua HS) had a nose for the end zone, giving WNMU their first touchdown in the beginning of the 4th quarter.

On the defensive side of the ball, Mark Jackson (Cibolo, TX/Bryon P. Steele II High School) had a sack, 6 tackles, two of which were for a loss. Tyler Coleman had three sacks on the night. Gerard McKnight (Houston, TX/Cypress Ranch HS) also had 6 tackles and one for a loss.

UTPB's RB, Jayvon Davis had an exceptional game. Davis pound the ball rushing for 121 yards on 19 attempts, and a touchdown. Second string QB, Suddin Sapien also came in the game and rushed for a touchdown in the 3rd quarter.

Clayton Davis of the Falcons was 11-25, throwing for 149-yards and a touchdown to MJ Link in the first quarter. Kobe Robinson was the leading receiver,  catching the ball 6 times for 114-yards.
