Silver City, NM -Â Western New Mexico University's Men's Tennis's Head Coach, Alex Hunt will welcome Prabjeet Chandhok, inking him into the Fall of 2022 recruiting class.
"Right away I could tell that Prabjeet, and his entire family are super passionate about the game of tennis," said Hunt. "That is the type of player I am looking for to keep pushing this WNMU Men's Tennis Team forward. "Â
In 2020, playing in the AITA Boys U16 Super Series Panchagani, Chandhok was the Doubles Champion. At the AITA Boys U16 Championship Series Karnal, he was the Singles Champion.
The native from Mumbai, India, was also the 2020 AITA Boys U18 Championship Series Karnal Doubles Champion. In 2021, he finished in 2nd at the AITA Boys U18 Championship Series Ahmedabad for Singles and Doubles.
"Prabjeet provides a very smooth game with lots of touch and sneaky bouts of power to control the court from any position," said Hunt. " I'm excited to get him down here in August 2022!"
