I'm excited to have David suit up for the Mustangs and look forward to his running experience complimenting our already strong lineup."
Rounding out the signing class is another New Mexico talent in Joshua Lara who comes out of Atrisco Heritage Academy High School in Albuquerque. A four-time state qualifier, Lara also finishes his high school campaign as an All-District Runner and District runner up in Cross Country, as well as a two-time District Champion in Track.
COACH CAMPOS ON JOSHUA: "I am pleased to add another New Mexico runner to our squad in Joshua. He brings a strong mental toughness as is a team player, along with excitement to get going in a Mustang uniform. He is familiar with several runners currently on the team having competed against them in high school, so it will be a nice change to have them as teammates."
