In the Afternoon the Lady Mustangs came up with another huge win 4-3 over Arizona Christian. The mustangs had lost the previous 4 years to Arizona Christian. Karina Kolovos clinched the victory for the Mustangs winning her #4 singles match. Karina Kolovos was 4-0 on the day for the Mustangs. Freshman Camila Gomez (Bogota, Columbia ) and Nicold Gonzalez (Bogota, Columbia ) shined again in singles both winning their matches decisively.

On the men's side, Western held on for a 5-4 win against Ottawa University to open the day.
Niko Barr (Whakatane, New Zealand/Trident) and Oscar Serra (Senorbi, Italy ) scored the first point of the match at #2 Doubles, defeating the Ottawa pair 6-3. With the Spirit up 2-1 after doubles play, the Mustangs came up big in singles play. Barr sealed the win in three sets, defeating Austin Todd of Ottawa (6-3, 5-7, 6-0).
