The Mustangs got their 10th win in a row on Friday with an 8-1 victory over Mesa State. WNMU remains perfect, 5-0, in conference play and clinches at least a share of the regular season RMAC title.
The doubles teams came out steady and remained consistent into singles. "We have been successful this year with our doubles points, and it continues to give us momentum into the singles play," says head coach Erik Burton.
After sweeping the doubles competition, No. 3
Kyle Lynch (Albuquerque, NM, New Mexico Military Institute High School) secured the fourth Mustang point with a 6-2, 6-0 win against Andres Hernandez. Lynch has had great success over the past five matches. He has given up only five games.
The Mustangs conclude the RMAC regular season play Saturday against Metro State.
