Sheilah Koskey (Eldoret, Kenya, Moi Forces Academy) and
Nicole Luna (Pueblo of Laguna, NM, Laguna-Acoma High School), women' cross country runners, were placed on the RMAC Academic All-Conference Honor Roll, the RMAC announced Wednesday. The teams were selected by Sports Informa¬tion Directors at schools in the RMAC that sponsor women's cross country.
To qualify for Academic All-RMAC, student-athletes must have a grade point average (GPA) of 3.30 or better, be a starter or reserve, and completed two consecutive semesters or three quarters at their current institution. Their GPA is what they had earned prior to cross country season beginning.
Koskey maintains a 4.00 GPA while majoring in nursing. Luna has a 3.48 GPA while majoring in business administration. Luna is also a member of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.
The men's cross country team did not have any runners placed on the academic lists.
