The Mustangs are headed to the RMAC Championship finals held Saturday morning. In quarterfinal action, WNMU dominated over Colorado Christian University, 6-0. The Mustangs then got revenge on CSU-Pueblo, who defeated the Mustangs on April 18. WNMU won by a score of 5-2. 

With the Mustangs adjusting their line-up again, the purple and gold earned two points at No. 2 and 3 doubles against CSU-Pueblo. 

Regular WNMU number-one singles player, Kyle Lynch (Albuquerque, NM, New Mexico Military Institute High School), dropped to No. 2 singles to take on CSU-Pueblo's Ricardo Oaxaca, who hadn't lost a singles match in RMAC play this season and had gone 2-0 versus WNMU's regular No. 2, Flavio Rueda (Mazatlan, Mexico, Universidad Autonoma de Durango, Riverside Community College). Lynch, though, halted Oaxaca's win streak, earning a crucial 6-3, 6-2 win. 

WNMU's No. 5 player Luke Salazar (Albuquerque, NM, Valley High School) was at 5-2 and 30-love in the second set when play was stopped and no point awarded. 

The Mustangs will take on No. 1 seed Metro State on Saturday morning in the championship match. Match time is set 8:00 a.m.
