The men's tennis team dominated on Tuesday afternoon. The Mustangs pounced on Grand Canyon University, 9-0. Overall, the Mustangs outscored the Lopes 97-30. 

WNMU's Flavio Rueda (Mazatlan, Mexico, Universidad Autonoma de Durango, Riverside Community College)'s singles match at the No. 2 spot was the longest match of the day. Off to a slow start, Rueda won the first set 7-6 (7-5), but then the Mexico-native took hold of the reins and held his opponent scoreless in the second set. 

Rueda and partner Luke Salazar (Albuquerque, NM, Valley High School) did not take nearly as long at No. 3 doubles. They defeated Luke Larm and Chris Green 8-0. 

Wilton Atkins (Wanganui, New Zealand, Wanganui Collegiate School, University of North Alabama) also won one set with a 6-0 margin at the No. 3 spot. He finished out with a 6-3 win in set two.
