Tiffany Newell played a strong week as she went a perfect 3-0 in both singles and doubles play. She won all of her singles matches at No. 3. Against MSU Denver, she claimed a 6-4, 7-6 win, added a victory over Tarleton State, 6-4, 7-6 and then closed the week with a 6-3, 6-3 win versus CSU-Pueblo. In doubles with teammate Claudia Osuna at No. 3 they began the week with an 8-0 win over MSU Denver. Versus Tarleton State they added an 8-4 win and then to finish the week they tallied a 9-7 win against CSU-Pueblo.
