Shone was dominant throughout the weekend going 2-0 with a 1.62 ERA in 17.1 innings that included a complete game seven inning shutout and 11 total strikeouts. She opened the week tossing her complete game gem versus Colorado Mines scattering seven hits and tallying six strikeouts in a 3-0 shutout victory. The next day she came back with another complete game victory going all seven innings in a 9-3 win over Black Hills State. She again scattered seven hits and allowed three runs (two earned) with four more strikeouts. She tossed 3.1 innings in relief later that day against Colorado Mines giving up two earned runs.
