Shone was locked in this weekend against CSU-Pueblo as she tossed a pair of complete game shutouts. For the weekend she posted a 0.57 ERA, 2-0 record, six strikeouts, no walks and a .224 batting average in 15.2 innings worked. WNMU needed Shone’s seven inning shutout gem on Saturday as the Lady Mustangs won the game 1-0. She allowed just three hits, no walks and had four strikeouts. She followed that up with an even better performance. In the 12-0 five inning win, she allowed just one hit, which was to the first batter of the game. After that, she retired the next 15 batters for the complete game shutout. In addition to having no walks, she collected two strikeouts. To finish the weekend she had one relief appearance going 3.2 innings and giving up two runs, one earned.Â
