Avina was a force in Saturday’s win against Fort Lewis coming away with eight tackles, three solo. He also posted three tackles for loss (14 yards) and two sacks (11 yards), both of which led the team. He added a quarterback hurry as well. He was an honorable mention for RMAC Defensive Player of the Week.
