Shone tossed a pair of complete game victories against New Mexico Highlands. In the opener, she tossed seven shutout innings allowing just five hits and had four strikeouts without a walk. The next game she allowed six hits over seven innings and had just two earned runs allowed along with five strikeouts and two walks. For the week she had a 1.00 ERA, nine strikeouts and 14 innings pitched.
Shone is amongst the leaders in the RMAC in most pitching categories. So far this season she has amassed 171.1 innings, 33 appearances, 25 starts, 16 complete games, three shutouts, 11 wins and a save to go along with 80 strikeouts.
