Carissa Schwalm (Las Cruces, NM) was named this week’s RMAC Women’s Golfer of the Week. The sophomore recorded her personal best score of 76 in the closing round of the first RMAC event last Monday and Tuesday, tying for first. Schwalm’s second-round score was the lowest recorded at the tournament. Schwalm shot a two-round total of 158. Schwalm’s performance led Western New Mexico to a second place team finish.
