Jacob Cross led the Mustangs defensively with 10 tackles at home against Mesa State. Seven of those were marked as solo. He helped limited the Mavericks to only 173 total offensive yards, the lowest total offense against the Mustangs this year. Of the two Mustang wins, Cross has had double figure tackles in each game. He posted 11 tackles against Sul Ross State.
