Yair Banuelos was perfect over the weekend. In two scrimmages against two-year schools, he went 2-0 in singles and 2-0 in doubles. He then captured a win in both singles (6-2, 6-1) and doubles (8-1) over the College of the Southwest. He outscored his opponents, 36-7, when playing alone last week. With Henning Thrien as Banuelos’ partner, the duo defeated their competition by at least six points in each of the three contests.
