Western New Mexico University Athletics

Only a sophomore, Eli Crevelone (Tucson, AZ, Canyon Del Oro High School) played at least 33 minutes in each of the two NCAA Division I exhibition games over the last two weeks.  Crevelone led the team in rebounds (7) versus New Mexico State and then led the team in points (15) versus the University of Arizona.  With family and friends watching, the Tucson-native hit 4-of-9 shots from three-point land.  He finished the preseason schedule with 25 points and 12 rebounds.  He also dished out four assists and snatched two steals over the two games.
