Men's Tennis concede match at Wichita Falls

Wichita Falls, TX – The Mustangs took the morning to conclude their visit to Wichita Falls to face against Midwestern State, in a Mustangs vs Mustangs showdown.

The match concluded with the Western Mustangs falling 1-6.

The match started with duos with the first duo exiting the court, Djamel-Dine Bey (Paris, France/National Centre for Distance Education (Online)) and Christopher Lund-Kuhl (Vaerloese, Denmark/Kruses Gymnasium) dropping the match 2-6. The second duo off the court was Jack Semper (Hackney, London, UK/Stoke Newington School) and Yannik Rogulski (Madunice, Slovakia/Archbishop's High School of Bishop P. Jantausch), falling 4-6. The last duo off the court was Benjamin Vriends (Mierlo, Netherlands/Sint Joriscollege) and David Guta (Bucharest, Romania/Liceul Teoretic C.A. Rosetti (Romania)) conceding the match 4-6.

The match continued into singles with the first Mustang exiting the court was Semper, 2-6, 1-6. The second Mustang leaving the court was Lund-Kuhl dropping the game 2-6, 3-6. Vriends exit the court third conceding the match 1-6, 7-6(2-3). Roguslki exit the court afterwards coming short 3-6, 1-6, 3-6. Guta was next to exit, at fifth, coming short 3-6, 2-6. The last Mustang off the court was Bey who fought hard and took the match to three sets, eventually coming out with a victory 2-6,6-4, 10-7.

This concluded the morning at Wichita Falls with a final score of 1-6.

The Mustangs will continue their season, with the last match of the season against the Cameron University Aggies in Lawton OK, tomorrow on the 25th of April.
