Silver City, NM - The Mustangs completed their first homestand against the Rattlers

The morning started with the Mustangs battling the Rattlers at home, but eventually came up short, 0-7.

The morning at Silver City started with the Mustangs pairing for doubles matches, where the first duo to exit the court was Xaviera Melgar (Tacna, Peru/Alexander Von Humboldt School) and Sofija Krstic (Knjazevac, Serbia/Gymnasium 9th May), conceding the match 6-2. The second duo to exit the court was Josefina Bailetti (Pergamino, Buenos Aires, Argentina/Colegio Nuestra Señora del Huerto) and Eva Guta (Bucharest, Romania/Liceul Teoretic C.A. Rosetti (Romania)), dropping the match 4-6. The last duo off the court was Lucia Carmena (Alcala de Henares, Spain/Les Complutense Alcala de Henares) and Nikoletta Pytel (Warsaw, Poland/Cosinus Lódz (Poland)), who fell 3-6.

The singles took off, with Carmena exiting the court 0-6, 5-7. Krstic was the second to exit the court, conceding the match 1-6, 1-6. Guta finished the court next, falling 5-7, 0-6. Melgar exited the court fourth, 0-6, 0-6. Pytel was the fifth to leave the court, falling 2-6, 4-6. The last Mustang to exit the court was Bailetti, fighting tough battles, but eventually conceding 5-7, 5-7.
This concluded the Mustangs' homestand against the Rattlers with a 0-7.

The Mustangs will continue their season with their second homestand against the UT Dallas Comets at the WNMU Tennis Courts on the 3^rd of April.
