Box Score Alpine, TX – The Mustangs wrapped up their trip to Alpine, TX with a showdown against the Sul Ross Lobos.

The Morning saw the Mustangs take on the Lobos and claim the win with a final score, 0-7.

The morning started with the Mustangs taking on the Lobos in doubles matches with Eva Guta (Bucharest, Romania/Liceul Teoretic C.A. Rosetti (Romania)) and Josefina Bailetti (Pergamino, Buenos Aires, Argentina/Colegio Nuestra Señora del Huerto) taking the first match with a 6-0 win. The second duo of Lucia Carmena (Alcala de Henares, Spain/Les Complutense Alcala de Henares) and Nikoletta Pytel (Warsaw, Poland/Cosinus Lódz (Poland)) followed suit and left the court second, taking the match 6-1. The last duo off the court were Xaviera Melgar (Tacna, Peru/Alexander Von Humboldt School) and Sofija Krstic (Knjazevac, Serbia/Gymnasium 9th May) after taking the match 6-1. This concluded the doubles with the first point for the Mustangs.

The singles took off with Pytel leaving the court first with a clean 6-0, 6-0 win. Guta was the second to leave the court to claim a 6-0, 6-1 victory. Bailetti left the court third, also taking the victory with her with 6-2, 6-2. Carmena kept this momentum, leaving the court fourth with a 6-0, 6-0 win. Melgar was fifth to leave the court after finishing the match with a clean 6-0, 6-0 win. The last Mustang to leave the court was Krstic taking with her a 6-0, 6-0 win.

This concluded the morning of the Mustang's visit with a final score, 0-7.

The Mustangs will continue their season, this time taking on the St. Mary's Rattlers at home in Silver City at the WNMU Tennis Courts on the 27^th of March at 09:00 Am, MDT.
