Box Score Phoenix, AZ – Mustangs conclude their second day at Pheonix, AZ with a 0-4 loss, concluding their Phoenix visit.
Mustangs take the court in the afternoon to face off against Colorado Mesa University
The Mustangs started the afternoon by teaming up for doubles matches, with
Xaviera Melgar (Tacna, Peru/Alexander Von Humboldt School) and
Sofija Krstic (Knjazevac, Serbia/Gymnasium 9th May) finishing their first match where they fell 1-6.
Josefina Bailetti (Pergamino, Buenos Aires, Argentina/Colegio Nuestra Señora del Huerto) and
Eva Guta (Bucharest, Romania/Liceul Teoretic C.A. Rosetti (Romania)) finished their doubles match second where after a hard fight fell in the tiebreaker with a 7-6, 7-4 loss.
The Mustangs continued their fight in the singles rounds with Krstic finishing first, but dropping the game with a 3-6, 0-6. Carmena ended her fight second, but her match dropped 1-6, 1-6. Pytel was the third to leave the court, and after going two rounds fell 5-7, 1-6. Bailetti left the court fourth with an unfinished game, with 2-6, 5-4. Guta's match was also left unfinished with a 1-6, 1-6 score. Melgar was the last Mustang to leave the court, but her match was left unfinished with 4-6, 1-6.
This concluded the second day of the Mustang's2-day visit to Phoenix with a 0-4 loss.
