Edmond, OK – WNMU Softball began their final road series today in Edmond, Oklahoma where they took on Oklahoma Christian in a double-header. The Eagles took game one 9-0, and they took game two 8-0.
GAME 1:
The Mustangs finished the first matchup scoreless to the eagles.
WNMU's outstanding moments came from Jenna Peter's who earned a hit in int 1st to right field, Laryssa Morales (Vail, AZ/Cienega High School) who gained a hit in the 2nd to right field, Kennedy Jarrard (Carlsbad, CA/Carlsbad HS) who singled down the the left field line, and Kaylee Hickman (Cloudcroft, NM/Cloudcroft High School) ho earned a hit right up the middle to center field.
The eagles scored 3 runs in the 2nd inning, 1 run in the 3rd inning, 3 runs in the 4th inning, and 2 runs in the 5th inning.

GAME 2:
Once again, the Mustangs ended the game scoreless to the Eagles.
L. Morales had the first hit for WNMU with a single down right field line in the 2nd inning. K. Jarrard also picked up a hit against the Eagles in game 2 with a ground single to center field in the 5th inning.
Oklahoma Christian picked up 2 runs in the 2nd inning, 2 runs in the 3rd inning, and 4 runs in the 4th inning.
