SILVER CITY, N.M. - The Western New Mexico University Women's Tennis team hosted #45 St. Mary's University for their Senior Day. The Mustangs would honor senior Mann-Ning Li (Converse, TX/John H. Guyer HS) before the match. 
 
WNMU was defeated in this one 0-7.
 
In doubles, No. 1 duo of Livia Leite (Cunha-SP, Brazil/Bernardino Querido,) and Ana Sofia Montero Villegas (Caracas, Venezuela) fell 2-6 to Paula Garrote and Stela Sifuentes. The No. 2 pair of Li and Andreea Arnautu (Laval, Quebec, Canada/College Laval) were bested 1-6 by Karen Kondo and Alessia Terlizzi. At No. 3 was Gabriella Blumberg (Casper, WY/Kelly Walsh HS) and Caini Wang (New Taipei City, Taiwan/Taipei Municipal Nangang Vocational High School) faced Elisa Rodriguez and Selina Wu, going down 2-6.

As for today's singles, No. 1 Leite played the 12^th ranked singles player in Wu. Leite would be defeated 1-6,-16. At the No. 2 spot today was Li, taking on the 58^th ranked player in Division II, Garrote. Li would lose 2-6, 1-6.
 
Wang was the Mustangs No. 3 today, losing 2-6, 1-6 to Kondo. Arnautu was in the No. 4 slot today, playing Janel Ospanova. Ospanova would take down Arnautu 2-6, 1-6.
 
Montero played No. 5 for the Mustangs today against the Rattlers Sifuentes, as she was defeated 3-6, 1-6. Blumberg rounded out the Mustangs lineup at No. 6, losing a heated match 2-6, 4-6 to Rodriguez.

Doubles – 1, 2, 3
Singles – 3, 1, 2, 4, 5, 6
 
This match concludes the Mustangs Tennis Season.
