Biography
2023 Season:
Montero appeared in two matched in firs season with the Mustangs. In singles, Montero went 0-2. In doubles, Montero was partnered with Livia Leite and went 0-2 once more. At WNMU, Montero received the ITA Scholar Athlete Award.Â
Prior to WNMU:
Montero played two years at Atlantis University before coming to WNMU. At Atlantis University, Montero received a certificate for finishing her freshman and sophomore year with a 4.0 GPA, she also received MVP for the 2022 season.Â
High School:
Montero attended Colegio San Martin de Porres and graduated in 2019. At Colegio San Martin de Porres, Montero was part of the tennis team where she earned Dean's List for Academic Excellence.Â
Personal:
In Montero's spare time, she enjoys reading, dancing, drawing, participating in other sports, and outdoor activities. Montero was born on May 28, 2001. As a little girl, Montero was part of a church group where they would go to nursing homes and help out. She also would help collect clothes, food, toys and other necessities and would took them to families who needed them most. After WNMU, Montero would like to get her Masters degree and find a job where she can use everything she has learned.
