SILVER CITY, N.M. - Western New Mexico University's volleyball team ended the 2024 home season celebrating their four graduating Seniors Saturday night at Drag's Court, against the Rattlers of St. Mary's (TX). The Mustangs would battle tough to send their seniors out with a win, but would run out of gas, ultimately falling in three sets with scores of 17-25, 24-26, and 26-28.

Jazmyne Walker (Las Vegas, NV/Legacy High School) led the team with an impressive performance in her final home match, recording 18 kills with a .438 hitting percentage.
Maria Osorio (Pereira, Colombia/Calasanz Pereira) also had a huge night, contributing 10 kills with a .400 hitting percentage.
Eimaya Medina (Las Cruces, NM/Centennial High School), spread the ball around nicely for the Mustangs, recording 35 assists.  In her final match as a Mustang, Jessica Sales finished with one kill and two digs on the night.

Lilouann Bechec (Cannes, France) shined in her final home match, leading the team with 15 digs. Â
Logan Dodge (Liberal, KS/Liberal Senior High School) added 5 digs in her final home match for the Mustangs.

The Mustangs finish up the season on the road in Oklahoma, taking on the Cameron Aggies Friday, November 15, 2024, at 3 p.m. MDT, with the season finale coming Saturday November 16, 2024, at 1 p.m. MDT against Oklahoma Christian.
