SAN ANGELO, Texas. – On Wednesday afternoon, The Western New Mexico Univeristy Volleyball team traveled to Angelo State for a matchup with the Rambelles. The Mustangs would swept 3-0.

Jazmyne Walker (Las Vegas, NV/Legacy HS) led the offense with 10 kills. Letícia Correa dished out 18 assists. Three Mustangs recorded three aces on the night.Â
Lilouann Bechec (Cannes, France) led the defense this afternoon with 12 kills. Walker's four blocks were a game high.Â

The Rambelles jumped out to a quick 11-4 advantage. The Mustangs were able to close the gap to two points, 16-18, before ASU pulled away for 25-19 set on win

Rambelles 1, Mustangs 0.
In set two, the Rambelles would lead early by five, 10-5. WNMU would tie things up at 15s, before a Rambelle surge gave the Rambelles set two, 25-21.

For set number three, the Rambelles quickly ran out to an 20-5 lead over the Mustangs. That would be all she wrote with the Rambelles taking set three 25-9.
