SILVER CITY, N.M. – Friday Afternoon the Western New Mexico Mustangs took on Texas A&M Kingsville. The Mustangs losing 6-1. 

At No. 1 doubles Caini Wang and Kasja Gedlitschka getting it done early winning, 6-3. No. 3 doubles with Willemijn Van Mierlo and Mann-Ning Li losing 6-4. No. 2 duo partners, Jenny Larsson  and Livia Leite fell 6-3. 

Larsson played as the No. 2 singles player and lost 6-3, 6-4, 7-6. Li played at the No. 5 spot, and fell 6-4, 6-3. Playing at the No. 1 spot, Van Mierlo lost to her opponent 6-1, 6-3. Leite played at the No. 3 position and was defeated by her opponent 6-3, 6-3. Wang played in the No. 4 position and fell 6-1, 6-2.

The Mustangs will play their last home matches this Saturday at 10:00 AM MT.
