Lubbock, TX- The Western New Mexico Women's Tennis team traveled to Lubbock, Texas to face Lubbock Christian University. The Mustangs would fall 6-1.  

Caini Wang (New Taipei City, Taiwan/Taipei Municipal Nangang Vocational High School) and Kasja Gedlitschka No.1 doubles would fall 6-3. No.2 Jenny Larsson (Stockholm, Sweden) and Livia Leite (Cunha-SP, Brazil/Bernardino Querido,) would lose 6-2. Willemjin Van Mierlo and Mann-Ning Li (Converse, TX/John H. Guyer HS) coming out on top 5-7.  

Playing in the No.3 singles spot Leite would defeat her opponent 6-4, 4-6, 3-6.  

No.1 Van Mierlo would lose 6-4, 6-3. Larssen No.2 would fall 6-0, 6-2. No.4 Wang losing 2-6, 6-2, 6-1. In our No.5 spot Mann-Ning Li (Converse, TX/John H. Guyer HS) would lose 7-5, 6-2. No.6 Gedlitschka lost 6-4, 6-2.  
Mustangs will continue their road trip to St. Marys University on April 15^th for a start time of 8:00 AM.
