LA MIRADA, CA – The Western New Mexico University Women's Tennis ended their road trip in California in 5-2 loss, against BIOLA. 

The BIOLA got the early lead, winning the doubles point. No. 3 doubles with Willemijn Van Mierlo (Amsterdam, Netherlands/Calandlyceum) and Mann-Ning Li (Converse, TX/John H. Guyer HS) won their match 6-2. At No. 1 doubles Caini Wang (New Taipei City, Taiwan/Taipei Municipal Nangang Vocational High School) and Kasja Gedlitschka were defeated, 6-3. No. 2 duo partners, Jenny Larsson (Stockholm, Sweden) and Livia Leite (Cunha-SP, Brazil/Bernardino Querido,) felling, 6-2. 

Playing at the No. 6 spot, Gedlitschka defeated her opponent, 6-1, 6-0. Wang played in the No. 4 position and won 7-5, 6-1.

Playing at the No. 1 spot, Van Mierlo lost to her opponent 6-3, 6-2. No. 2 singles, Larrson fell 6-2, 6-3. Leite played at the No. 2 position and fell 6-3, 6-2. Li played at the No. 5 spot, and lost 6-0, 6-4.

The Mustangs will come back home for three home matches. March 23, the Mustangs will play Arkansas-Fort Smith starting at 10:00am.
