Moore Ends the Night in Double Digits

FORT SMITH, AR - Mustangs hit the road for their last three games of the season. WNMU takes on Arkansas Fort Smith where the Lions would snag the win over the Mustangs with a final score of 74-52.
 
Diamond Moore (Colorado Springs, CO/Harrison High School) would lead for the Mustangs ending with 11 points and eight rebounds. Eliza Joynes (Adelaide, South Australia/Henley Sports Academy) would follow closely behind with 10 points and four rebounds. Cassandra Vickery (Tularosa, NM/Tularosa HS) would total nine.
 
WNMU keeping it steady with the lions until the third quarter. Mustangs would get outscored 17 points in the third. This would ultimately give UAFS a large lead heading into the fourth quarter. Mustangs would outscore Lions 16-12 in the fourth but would not be enough to catch the Lions.
 
Mustangs would shoot 19-of-26 (30.6%) from the field, 3-of-16 (18.8%) from the three-point line, and 11-of-21 (52.4%) from the free-throw line.  WNMU would also add 37 rebounds, and 11 assists.
 
Mustangs would score 18 points off Lions turnovers. Forcing UAFS to 15 turnovers, Mustangs would grab 11 steals for the night. Brooke Rodgers (Phoenix, Arizona/Cactus Shadows High School) would end with four steals, Cassandra Vickery (Tularosa, NM/Tularosa HS) and Milan Tuttle (Oakland, California/Heritage High School) would both end with two.
 
WNMU would outscore Lions in the paint 18-16. The Mustangs bench would score 29 points compared to the Lions 18.
 
Mustangs will hit the road to Oklahoma Christian February 16th for a 12:00 PM tip-off.
