Senior Maggie Roe (Boulder City, NV/Boulder City High School) had a few momentum changing kills with 5 throughout the match. Freshman Marlaynah McDonald (Silver City, N.M./Silver High School) also had 5 monster kills to help the Mustang offense get rolling. As for the Mustang defense, Freshman Eliana Moultrie (El Paso, TX/Canutillo HS) had a total of 16 digs against the Chaps. Madison Gardener put up an excellent wall tonight with 4 blocks for the match against LCU.

The Chaps took over match one with lots of energy and momentum on their side of the court which helped them defeat the Mustangs 25-16. In set two, the Mustangs had four-point lead early on in the match, ready to fight and battle back. After long rallies and kills on either side of the net, LCU won the set 25-21. For the final set, (set three), the Mustangs found themselves with another early lead 10-6 after a needed kill by Maggie Roe (Boulder City, NV/Boulder City High School).
