Holifield Earns All-Conference Honors

FRISCO, TEX. – Graduate Senior Elijah Holifield (Atlanta, GA/Pace Academy) earned All-Conference honors announced Wednesday evening at the championship banquet. Holifield landed on the honorable mention list, along with nine others throughout the league.

Holifield, a guard from Atlanta, Georgia appeared in all 28 games for the Mustangs this season, and led the team in scoring averaging over 15 points per game, ranking him 14^th in the Lone Star Conference in that category.

His offensive efforts continued to garner conference recognition, shooting at a .447 clip from the field, 15^th in the LSC. His .408 from beyond the arc placed him second in the conference, averaging nearly 3.0, three point field goals a game.

Elijah surpassed double-figures in 22 of the 28 games this season, including two thirty point performances against Tarleton and St. Mary's.

Defensively, Holifield averaged 4.7 boards a game, to go along with 19 blocks and 19 steals.
