HOW IT HAPPENED
- The teams traded points before WNMU went up 14-12 on a service ace from Sarah Campoli (Weatherford, TX/Azle High School)
- Adams State answered with multiple scoring runs late to take set one 25-17
- The Mustangs found themselves down early in set two, but rallied back to take a 10-8 lead forcing pressure on the Grizzlies behind the service line.
- Western held a 22-19 advantage, but Adams State would answer with another scoring run to take set two in extra points.
- ASU took a 15-8 lead in the third and never looked back, taking the sweep over the Mustangs.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- #4 Washburn came out of the gates hot taking a 9-2 lead, going up as many as 10 points.
- WNMU fought off five set points, before the Ichabods closed out set one, 25-18.
- It was all Mustangs through the first half of set two, taking a demanding 16-7 lead.
- A refuse to lose mentality took Washburn on a 6-0 scoring run to come back and take a 20-19 lead.
- A service ace clinched the comeback and set two for Washburn.
- Momentum carried over for the Ichabods in the final set, taking the set 25-13 and the match.
