Rain Cancels Final Two Games for Lady Mustangs at DSU Easton Classic

ST. GEORGE, Utah – Rain overnight made the fields unplayable for Saturday's Dixie State University Easton Classic. The Western New Mexico University softball team finished the tournament 0-4, but had several close games, including the final one against CSU-Pueblo in which they lost in extra innings.

The Lady Mustangs were scheduled to play UC-Colorado Springs and Dixie State today. They will now turn their attention to Lone Star Conference play when they host in-state rival Eastern New Mexico this coming Friday starting at 2 p.m. at the WNMU Softball Field.
