WNMU women's tennis struggle during their match against University of New Mexico. Even though the team put up a fight, they weren't able to get a win against the Lobos. The NCAA Division I opponent snatched the victory, 7-0.

Nikolina Vukadin (Pale, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Sredwjoskolski Centar Pale) and played a solid doubles match but ended up falling, 8-3. 

Nicki Duenas (Gilbert, AZ, Mesquite High School, Mesa community College), playing in her first match as a Mustang, was able to win two games at the No. 4 spot.

“Even though we weren't able to come up with any win, the girls did work hard and played some good matches. It was definitely a good experience for them to play against such a good D1 team,” said assistant coach Carolina Hannes.
