Verrill again was big at the net sending back 13 blocks, with three being solo, averaging 1.62 per set. She also added 15 kills and a dig. Verrill had a big match in the win over No. 17 Angelo State with six blocks, one solo, along with 11 kills and a service ace. She had an even better blocking performance in the three-set match against No. 15 Tarleton State with seven blocks, with two being solo.
