Dominguez helped lead the Lady Mustangs to a tie for third out of 12 teams at the Farmers Insurance Samuel Proal Invitational as she tied for eighth. Dominguez was tied for first after a strong opening round of 73 and after coming back with a 78 she ended up with a 151 to tie for eighth. Having posted the top marks for a freshman in program history, Dominguez continued that success right into her first tournament as a sophomore. She had a low round last year of 73 (once) and already this year matched that in her first round. Dominguez's 151 is also tied for her second-best round, as she had a pair of 149's last year, as well as two rounds of 151.
