Biography

2021 Season: 
Played in all 11 games for WNMU in the 2021 season. Gutierrez finished off the season with a total of 90 tackles, including 55 solo … with 6.0 tackles for loss. Paired with two pass breakups. Gutierrez was 2nd overall in the Lone Star Conference for total tackles and was awarded Honorable Mention for the 2021 season.

2020 Season:
Gutierrez played in the spring game in 2021 against UT Permian Basin. Gutierrez totaled four solo tackles, two of which were tackles for a loss.

2019 Season: 
Played in eight games in the 2019 season. Gutierrez ended his freshman year 24 tackles, 20 of which were solo and one tackle for loss. Gutierrez tallied two fumble recoveries and two quarterback hurries.

High School:
Gutierrez graduated from Franklin HS in 2018. He played football and basketball for Cougars. For his career with the Cougars, he tallied 225 tackles, had two sacks, nine forced fumbles, and three interceptions. On the basketball court for his career, he averaged 6.7 ppg, 3.o assists, 3.2 rebounds, and 1.9 steals.
